Prayer Points

In Joshua 6, the children of Israel went around the city seven times, and the city wall came tumbling down. We encourage everyone to do a prophetic act by walking around the stadium and praying for the city.

Pray for the Churches

Psa 133:1-2 How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.

  • Pray for the churches and pastors in Brisbane to be united. Pray that the dividing walls of denomination, theological differences and cultures will be broken down, and that we can truly be one.

  • Pray for real hunger for the presence of God in all the churches.

  • Pray for revival among all the churches.

  • Pray that churches and Christians will have an urgency to share the gospel to the lost world.

  • Pray that churches will grow in size, influence and effectiveness in discipleship.

Pray for the City

  • Pray for a massive harvest of souls in the city.

  • Pray for labourers to be launched into the harvest fields.

  • Pray for conviction of the Holy Spirit to come upon the people that they will repent and turn to the Lord.

Pray for the Civic Leaders in our City

1 Tim 2:1-2 I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. 2 Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.

  • Pray for all our politicians at all levels of government.

  • Pray for wisdom and guidance from above and our leaders will govern with the fear of the Lord and the interests and wellbeing of everyone in mind.

  • Pray that the decisions made on behalf of our city and nation will promote freedom, righteousness, justice and peace in our society.

  • Pray for life to be valued and protected through our legal system and policies.
